Projects involving the creation of original music or audio material may be broken down into seven steps:

  1. Initial Meetings - Conversations are held to determine the deliverables, expectations, schedule, and costs. These talks may be held in person, via telephone, or email. There is no charge for initial meetings.
  2. Written Agreement - Project deliverables, budget, expectations, and schedule are documented before work begins.
  3. Discovery - Actual work begins on the project. A variety of musical directions are explored by the artist. Rough mixes may be posted as mp3 files on a project webpage for the client to review. This gives the client an opportunity to influence the musical direction at an early stage.
  4. Arrangement - Once a musical direction has been chosen, the idea is refined and developed until a final arrangement has been selected.
  5. Mixdown - A final mixdown is created.
  6. Mastering - Depending on the project's budget and schedule, we will either sub-contract the mastering or do it in-house.
  7. Final Product - A finished master recording is provided to the client on CD or mp3. Invoices are submitted and processed.
